Tenants Meeting, 30 April 2019
The next meeting of Kennington Park Estate Tenants’ & Residents’ Association is on Tuesday 30 April. Please note that all our meetings will be on Tuesdays in future. There will be a presentation by representatives of Berkeley Homes, the property development company which is developing the Gas Holder site.

Kennington Chartist Project – 7 July 2018
7th July 2018. 11am – 4pm Take Part in a Day of Workshops, Participation and Action in Kennington Park. Banner & Printmaking, Storytelling & Spoken Word, Community Choirs, Local history, Debate Full Programme: (subject to change! Signup for updates. 11-12: Storytelling. Join professional storyteller Sandra Agard as she tells the story of the 1848 Chartist rally on Kennington Common and other tales. (All ages) 11am – 4pm Printmaking with South London’s Portable Print Studio. Print your own FREE souvenier poster of the famous engraving of Kennington Common in 1848. Or design you own slogans and print onto T-shirts. Bring your own T-shirts for printing (light colours). 11am – 4pm: Banner Making. With Calverts design Co-op, and textile artist Lu Firth. A group workshop to design and make a banner for the Kennington Chartist Project, within the day! For adults.(And accompanied children 10+) (SIGN-UP required). 11.30am & 2.30pm: The Kennington 1848 Walk. Historical tour of the park…
