Meeting on 25 July
Transport for London are holding a drop-in event on Thursday 25th July, 3.30pm- 8pm, at the Durning Library, 167 Kennington Lane to discuss building a permanent ventilation shaft for the Northern Line Extension on Kennington Green.
Many local residents are opposed to this plan and instead are supporting an alternative site at 373 Kennington Road. More information on this can be provided by the Kennington Green Supporters Group who can be contacted at kenningtongreensg@gmail.com. They will be going to Thursday’s event at about 6.30pm.
